FINCEN UPDATE: A US District Court has issued a ruling vacating FINCEN’s Residential Real Estate Transfers Rule (RRE). FINCEN responded by temporarily suspending enforcement of the RRE, pending its potential appeal of this ruling. Therefore, we have suspended the collection of FINCEN data effective immediately. We will continue to watch this evolving situation carefully and will update you when and if there are further developments. This does not mean the RRE is gone forever, although we certainly hope it is. It could very well be back in effect in the future.
